Why do people gain weight — or get fat — and then have difficulty loosing it?

The human body functions at a very delicate temperature balance of 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. This is usually the measure for finding out whether you are in “normal” health or not. However, the most accurate measure of health is your blood chemistry or more specifically the alkaline/acid balance in your blood stream, which for a healthy person is at 7.365.

However, most of us lead unbalanced lives and our dietary habits are anything but healthy, which leads to a buildup of acidity and toxicity in the body. The system which cleans out the toxicity is the lymphatic system. But it only works when the muscles of the body move — it does not have a pump like the heart, so it relies on muscular movement and breath. Deep breathing and active movement like exercise, yoga, walking etc helps pump the lymph thru the lymphatic system.

However, the body has a limited capacity to clean itself out on a regular basis. When the toxicity you put into the body in terms of high sugar foods, processed foods, fried foods, animal protein, dairy, alcohol, cigarettes, negative emotions (negative biochemistry), is too much for the body to clean out, then, the lymphatic system gets overwhelmed.

As a result the blood oxygen level drops, toxicity remains in the intestines and the blood stream and from there most food eaten is turned into fat, which goes to work to neutralize toxicity and store it. Thus people start gaining weight. And when they try to loose it by dieting it does not work because the first step instead of dieting is to change the biochemistry from acid/toxic to alkaline!

How to do that?

1-      Drink alkaline water; add 1-2 squeezed lemon juice to a large bottle and sip for 2 hrs

2-      Eliminate processed, heavy foods, animal meats, sugars, mushrooms from your diet.

3-      Eat as much raw, fresh vegetables as you can

4-      4- Take ispaghol twice a day with a large glass of water to help clean out your digestive system

Do this for at least two weeks and you’ll feel like a new man/woman!!
