Often times we feel proud as a parent that how much our children know but the important question is how well we know what really matters?
Yesterday I asked my 10 year old nephew who is Hazrat Umar (R.A)? She answered “Hazrat Umar (R.A) was the second Muslim Caliph after Prophet Muhammad’s (P.B.U.H) death.” I felt impressed and asked the second question; what do you know about Hazrat Umar (R.A)? She said nothing more.
Just for fun I asked who is Ranbir Kapoor? Trust me she presented me with enough bio on Ranbir to write a book on him. This lead me to think that if our youth don’t even know about our greatest leaders than how can we expect our youth to rule.
