Pictures of Floods in Pakistan

August 16th, 2010 medigineers 1 comment

Flood in PakistanPakistan is experiencing the worst flooding it has seen in over 80 years. Entire villages have been washed away, an early estimate of over
1,600 deaths so far and over 2 million displaced or otherwise affected. Not only is the immediate water damage causing havoc, the floods have inundated crop-producing areas, dealing a crippling blow to the
agricultural-based economy and threatening a food crisis. The Pakistani
government now struggles to rescue and provide aid to millions – while
still fighting with militant Islamist forces in many of the hardest-hit
regions. With even more heavy rains predicted in the coming days, here
are a handful of recent photographs of Pakistanis as they cope with this
latest disaster.

We appeal to all Pakistanis living in United States and elsewhere in the
world to generously donate to the following three Michigan based
Pakistani Organizations. Emergency assistance is urgently required and
your immediate assistance would be greatly appreciated. “In the
aftermath of the floods there is a serious risk to survivors from
potentially deadly diseases which will spread as a result of
contaminated surface and drinking water.” Your donations will help make
a difference to the people of Pakistan whose homes and livelihoods have
been washed away by severe monsoon floods.

Gmail is getting better day by day

July 1st, 2009 Yousuf Rafi 1 comment

To tell you the truth I adore Gmail more when it is compared to Hotmail or Yahoo, no offense to anyone but this is my choice and for the past few months I like Gmail even more with its new features. I find these features quite handy, hope you will also use them.

So let me tell you some of these features which I like most. First of all enable the features you like so they can be handy while mailing. Go to Settings > Labs and whalaah we have bundle of handy features out here. Google is updating these features day by day so keep visiting this option to get the latest updates.

Like you can undo a mail after sending it by mistake if you enable this feature, using a calculator can be handy. You can insert can image directly in the body of your mail by simply enabling this feature. Send mails by adding some cool new emotions by enabling this feature. Add YouTube videos directly into your mail. Well I use these features a lot; you can browse through the list and enable your features. Gmail is really improving day by day and I am loving it more day by day.
