What is Google Wave?

Google Wave is a new built-in-browser communication and collaboration tool that is algoogle_wave_logoready being marked by some as the next evolution of email. So basically, Google Wave is a real-time communication platform. You can bring a group of friends or business partners together to discuss how your day has been, or share files and exchange notes.

Google Wave is supposed to replace traditional email systems and improve them by using more interactive, live, on-the-fly methods to deliver information. Traditional emails work on a basis of typing a message, potentially styling the message, and hitting “send” and off it goes to the recipient.

Gadget Review: NKTEL A200 (China mobile)

September 4th, 2009 Yousuf Rafi 48 comments

Like it or not, it is a fact that now days almost all the appliances in use are made in China. China is currently the world’s manufacturing base, churning

out cheap and fair quality products ranging fro

m common pins to automobile cars.  Although, they may be cheap, but sometimes, some of the products can be of very good quality.  But then that is very far and

between. Normally, Chinese goods are what we like to call, expandable.

Today, I will be reviewing here my very own mobile phone,

and guess where has being made. Where of course, but CHINA!!

With its slim design and light weight China’s NKTEL A200 gets more credit than any other Nokia’s mobile phone.

Victim of Street Crime

July 30th, 2009 Yousuf Rafi No comments
So finally I am also a victim of street crime. Yesterday when I was waiting at the bus at bus stop at Clifton super market with not so much people around two teenagers came one putting a pistol on my back, and other asking for my mobile, I without a second thought in my mind took mobile from my pocket and gave it to them.  They went off simply by walking away leaving me behind with a bad start of the day.
Little incident but left me with lot of wisdom. This incident forces me to think that can’t we do something about this, I remember in Saudia Arabia when such thing happens and if the robber is caught on spot, they take pictures of robber and show a report on TV that this person has done this crime and he will be behead on this day. The whole process is live telecasted. Now that’s the right action against any crime and I think and hope that this will be applied in Pakistan in future.
