I still remember the time when there was only one TV channel in Pakistan. In those days (early 90’s) there was not much content to show on TV but at that time less content provided quality. People use to go for work and return home early to spend some time with the family. It was a set routine for almost everyone. Whole family use to watch 8’o clock drama, drama which always had some lesson in it. After that there was 9’o click news and then people use to sleep early because at that time people were more committed with their work.
My GOD what a time is was the media was so very positive, people were so motivated, hard working and energetic. Everyone was so very sincere with his/her work. At that time spending days was a blessing not a burden on anyone.

Social media has become a driving force behind many of our lives. With an ever increasing user base many people have begun to find themselves utilizing social media applications like Twitter and Facebook on a more then regular basis. Technology is increasing day by day with an exponential rate and with that it is becoming necessary to move on with the technology. From my childhood I had a habit of digging into every new technology so it started with Hotmail when I created an account on it. Then came Yahoo and I made an account on that also recently with the popularity of Gmail I also made an account on it. So from time to time I made various accounts on Hotmail, Yahoo and Gmail because there was lot of info on the internet so it was becoming difficult for me to store all of that in a single email account.

Watch what you say or do at Facebook! – this is a statement quoted by the president of U.S.A to some school children recently. 
But this statement is valid for all of us – especially Pakistanis. With all the hype that social networking sites have created around the world it is now necessary to watch what you say on Facebook.
A recent study on social networks concluded that almost 30% of today’s employers are using Facebook to check on potential employees prior to hiring. In today’s tough economy, the question of whether to post those embarrassing party pictures, as well as silly updates and comments on your friends’ updates could now cost you your paycheck, as well as a dent large enough to destroy your career.

About: Mehdi Hasnain aka Moon uses pen (or mouse) name medigineers. Medigineers is the name of music band launched by him along with (medical doctor and engineer) friends and hence the name ‘medi-gineers back in 80s while studying in Karachi. These are also the early days that shaped the social media context for him ultimately resulting in what we have today as www.doodhpatti.com.
Along the way medigineers (Mehdi) graduated from NED, worked 18 years as a business professional in strategy formulation, operations planning, team building and quality assurance after doing MBA in Finance and Operations from Scranton-PA and held senior leadership positions in manufacturing, automotive, semi-conductor and consumer electronics industries working in North America and Pakistan.
