The rage which made the fans go crazy about Cheapmunks was their unique mash-up songs. Adding to that were the beautiful and soulful voices of the girls.
Cheapmunks have created and made way for youngsters to show the world what they got, have been making music which the people want to hear!
In my interview with Hamza Quddusi taken almost a year back I was sure that Cheapmunks had a long way to go. After hearing rumours about how Cheapmunks had come so far to fade like this, was their commitment to their fans just an act?Sources reveal that Mehak left the band after Cheapmunks’ last concert on 5th June 2011 due to her personal reasons. With mutual agreement, Cheapmunks decided to continue. As time passed, clash of ideas was at its peak, wanting different things for the band and personal opinions made the members doubtful of continuing in the future. Suhana left for USA soon enough, leaving Cheapmunks lifeless.
“I always invited them to come and do something together but they left the band themselves and never joined hands with us, though I asked them enough times, their response was not positive.”, says Hamza Quddusi.
Hamza and Danyal have taken over the Facebook page and are claiming to return, with or without Suhana and Mehak?
Are the girls really concerned about their image or they just want to seek attention as new girls are going to come and replace them?
Is the skit writing on Pakium’s Facebook wall genuine as the girls know they are fading away? Only time will tell.
