Sachin Knows Everything

April 26th, 2011 medigineers 19 comments

sachin-tendulkar-finding-happinessSachin is the mastero ghe knows everything about the art of cricket.. recently searching the net I came across this interview of Pakistan Ex-captain Rashid Latif and according to Latif.. ‘Sachin knows more then every thing….. read on….

Pakistan ex-captain Rashid Latif has been a central figure in implicating some of the top players of his country in match-fixing. Much of Latif’s charges have been borne out in events of the past few months. As far back as ’97, Latif had maintained something was rotten in subcontinental cricket. That included the establishment and players with dubious links with bookies. His charges against Pakistanis prompted the setting up of the Justice Qayyum inquiry.

Now Latif is willing to testify before the King Commission on the ’95 Mandela Trophy finals, which he claims were “fixed”. In an interview with Murali Krishnan, he talks on the current crisis facing Indian cricket. Significantly, without accusing Sachin Tendulkar, Latif identifies him as one who knows all about match-fixing and says he should be questioned thoroughly.  Excerpts:

The Last 8 Miles of World Cup or Schwarzzneegar Movie – Part 2

March 24th, 2011 medigineers 1 comment

Read Part 1 Here

You are reading these lines when the first (or if you are yet to become a daily reader of DP Blogs) and second semi-finals are already over. With Pakistan winning the first QF so easily, I must say what I wrote two days ago in part one is only continuing to read as the script… a world Cup or a predictable Arnold Schwarzenegger movie….

As I review the 3rd and the 4th QFs, I am realizing that there is much more adventure to follow here and it’s not only the epic India-Aussie battle that will test the emotions but the England-Sri Lanka game could very well prove to be a nerve wrecker and by the time we finish the quarter finals and semi-finals we might as well seek release of Terminator-4 the movie than the Final of ICC World Cup.

Preview of the four epic battles among the last eight teams remaining in the competition showcases some very interesting cricket days ahead.

Why Pakistan will NOT be winning this World Cup

February 8th, 2011 medigineers 19 comments

I know when the whole nation is going crazy over the ala-Boom Boom Hype… By what I am saying here, I can only convince everyone easily that I am the anti-Hero …. But As I begin to analyze the teams, players, stats and options for all teams and Pakistan.. I can only make a single solid Prediction

Let’s roll back to history of last World Cups and the players (read captains) and teams that rose themselves to lift the coveted trophy..

As I review the initial “black-wash” of Windies in the first two Cups; the dramatic history made by India in Lords in 1983; The Aussies triumphant team of Alan Border in 87, Pakistani tigers under the Great Khan Sb in 92, the De-silva train of Lankans in 96; The greatest cricketing power display of the decade between 99-2007 shown by Aussies under Ponting-Gilchrist-Warne-McGrath-Heyden regime…. All it boils down to is playing cricket at its best… Skills… Improvisation…. Class…. Passion… Fighting to the last…

Because they have 12 awesome dudes to do it. Including a hustler, a mentalist, a sniper and a cockroach

I had originally thought of writing a snarkfest on the inquiry in Doha. But on full reflection that comedy of stitch-ups can be dismissed with the swiftness of a Sehwag innings in South Africa. For, once again, the ICC have bungled it. Read more…

The Scandal is out… the Heaven has fallen… as if the flood waters raging from Northern Himalayas to the Southern valleys of Sind weren’t enough to drown a Nation … our beloved “Idiots” have breached all of the remaining dams of trust… Saying is… to drown in shame all u need is “Chullo bhar Paani” (a small cup of water)… why await the greatest flood of last 100 years…

I ask the nation to demand Excellence… from ourselves … from our Heroes… from our nation builders…  Let’s seek again the days where we cherish the true heroes only and not drug addicts like Asif and Shoaib Akhtar .. or habitual betters like Kamran Akmal …. Let’s recall the days of Hero of Sharjah the legendary Miandad… of Sydney, the Tiger Imran Khan, of Dehli… The magician Hasan Sardar.

As today all of you (read us) are asking the question… What..? Why..? I do no more but to remind us of “HOW” we got here… let us recap the way us, the Pakistani nation have raced ourselves to “Mediocrity” and now digging to become the exemplary milestones of “Below Average Attitudes”
