Medigineers is the name of music band launched by him along with (medical doctor and engineer) friends and hence the name ‘medi-gineers back in 80s while studying in Karachi. Along the way medigineers (Mehdi) graduated from NED, worked 18 years as a business professional in strategy formulation, operations planning, team building and quality assurance after doing MBA in Finance and Operations from Scranton-PA and held senior leadership positions in manufacturing, automotive, semi-conductor and consumer electronics industries working in North America and Pakistan. He is currently working as Global Quality Director for APC-Schnieder and is commuting between Boston and Karachi.
“Medigineers keeps me connected with my inner creative, communal and entrepreneurial instincts”, says Mehdi and thus culminates in launching projects such as ARRA International (during his early days in Karachi), Advanced Management Group and now Tohfay.com and Doodhpatti.com. Medigineers is a writer, singer and a poet (in humorous genre, a pupil of the great Late Dilwar Figaar himself) is often reciting mushairay in North America and Asia. Calls himself a teacher, a student of finance, economy and human behaviors.
