Dropbox is a free service that lets you bring all your photos, docs, and videos in one place. All you have to do is to download and install Dropbox on your home pc, office pc or laptop then allow it to update itself.
How will Dropbox increased my productivity?
Dropbox increased my productivity in an exponential rate. Let me tell you how. I installed Dropbox in my office and home pc now either I work from home or from office I have access to all my files. I just need to upload files to my Dropbox folder and that’s it!!!
Just upload files and now you can access them with just few clicks. Now you don’t need to worry on how to keep my data up to date so I can access from anywhere in the world.
After you install Dropbox an icon will appear in your taskbar.
Right click on Dropbox icon and select Open Dropbox folder. Dropbox folder is universal folder which contains files which you can access from anywhere.
Now there are 2 ways to upload files in your Dropbox folder.
1) Upload files from website www.dropbox.com
2) Drag and drop files in your Dropbox folder from your pc.

Goto Dropbox.com and register a free account. Now login to your account to upload file from your pc. Click on upload and start uploading.
2) Drag and drop files in your Dropbox folder from your pc.
Open your Dropbox folder and copy any file from your pc. Now here if you look closely you notice a tick mark right next to every file. This means that file is up to date on your pc.
Upload a large file from your pc and you will notice two arrows instead of tick mark. This means that file is still uploading. Once upload is done you will see the tick mark sign again.
With an haphazard life its too difficult to keep track of all of your files but with Dropbox you don’t need to. Just keep updating Dropbox folder and access your files from anywhere in the world with just few clicks.
