Race it is!

For the people who live in USA are by now almost fed-up with Obama Vs McCain or recently Palin rhetoric of who is winning or can win or will make sure that their own party will not score a victory… so I will not bore you with that dialogue… There is however another reflection to the possible outcomes of this race for the Whitehouse.

Mainstream media from CNN to Fox to Washington post continue to call this race a close one some even suggesting that McCain would eventually emerge winner in many ‘blue’ states; nothing could be further from the truth in my eyes.

Here are some glimpses of what’s happening on the ground. One candidate is pulling crowds of 30 to 40 thousand in his rallies compared to the other who is struggling to fill a road side cafe, Obama is a Rock-Star is what a close friend who is not a democratic supporter told me when he went to hear him in a rally in New Hampshire; One candidate is staying in the middle on all issues and the other is pulling on the sides enough to almost go over the edges on the ‘Right’, elections are won and lost in America by voting of the middle 30% of the voters with 35% registered to their parties remaining loyal on each side; One candidate has picked a VP candidate who is more qualified (to be the President, should the need arise) then even himself in some ways and the other’s choice of VP is making his own party members switching sides, Colin Powell and many others have crossed part lines and endorsed the democratic candidate Barak Obama citing Sara Palin’s candidacy a colossal judgment error on McCain’s part.

Question is then why the common man on the street or the world media calling this a race too close to call. Is it because the man of the moment has ideas that are so new that they would be a huge departure from the past or is it because a change from within is always looked at with skepticism or is the disbelief that time has come for a man of Color to take the most powerful job in the world and finally throne the ‘White’ House. I think its all of the above.

Many of my friends who live around the world an continue to ask me the one obvious question, “so who will win the 08 race’.. My answer to them is always… “Obama should score at least a 60-40 win if not a 70-30. Any thing else could only be a logical result of a process marred with errors, irregularities or a classic display of racial bias in the often regarded best of the best modern society.Pundits on major TV channels referring to Obama’s fate on the election day haveeven talked about what is called a Bradley Affect named for Tom Bradley, an African-American who lost the 1982 California governor’s race despite being ahead in some voter polls.

So my friends yes, I am saying this… The race for white house this time around is a test for America to show the world its true colors (no pun intended). Yes America is red, white and blue but it is also green and yellow and Black! Time has come to ascertain if both the establishment corridors of the powerful and the inner beliefs of the core masses that populates these cities and rural towns, have what it takes to face the truth. Any deliberate attempt to undermine this history in the making could prove disastrous for not only the new World but also the Globe connected. The Decision 08 for the USA is indeed a major one for it will determine the outcome of so many policies and issues that await but make no mistake… This race is for the Race!

The race was over a long time ago; all the backdoor deals are in place. Obama wins by 65-35.
There is a reason why Obama is not getting hurt in the polls and it is because he has carefully planned certain outcomes as part of his campaign, remember against Hillary at the last moment some prominent democrats endorsed Obama, same is happening against McCain. Obama is also using an economic model that is powerful, reduce taxes and increase spending, let us not forget that Obama is looking for solutions to health care by looking at other models, and is it just a coincidence that when Obama talks about attacking other countries to root out al-Queda that Bush follows, or if he talks about making Iraqis spend more money by taking ownership that the news reports precisely that. And then for general Colin Powell to call him a “transformational figure” and the job is complete. Obama has one other ace in the hole in case things turn negative at the last minute, Condi Rice!

Condi Rice… good one Azmat H.

If McCain wins this election somehow, i am moving back to Pakistan permanently. Atleast the elections there are fair and unbiased.

Azmat H… Intriguing theory …’Obama has carefully planned the moves….’ I can see how that may be one explanation of what’s going on. Obama is intelligent we all know … question is where is he on the that curve …
