(This series will aim to explore the importance regarding the Greatest Trial Mankind will face. The age which has begun already.)
Dajjal: is a common Arabic word, used in the sense of “false prophet”, but al-Masih ad-Dajjal, with the definite article, refers to “the imposter”, a specific end-of-times deceiver. The Imposter: is one who engages in deception under an assumed name or identity. So we can understand Dajjal means an imposter and an imposter means one who engages in deception under an assumed name or identity.

Dajjal - The Anti-Christ
What will this identity be? And who will provide this identity?
This identity will be a claim to be GOD (Almighty ALLAH) Himself. To achieve this he will first claim to be a Leader then Jesus (Prophet Isa) then GOD (Almighty ALLAH)! The Dajjal will have a Large following consisting of all races and Religions but mainly Jews.
How can a Man of Evil achieve such a following? He will perform Miracles. While his army works in the shadows on a plan which aims to End all Religions and Faith in GOD. In the society of today in which people class themselves atheist, a person who does not believe in GOD he may feel he cannot see GOD which means he does not exist. If people with such thinking saw someone perform miracles before their eyes they will be deceived with its trickery struck in awe wondering at its Greatness, such an act can open a door inside them making one accept and be overwhelmed with what they see.

Turmeric Mask
In traditional Ayurvedic and Asian medicine, turmeric is purportedly useful for the treatment of many ailments and skin problems such as acne. To make a turmeric mask, you can combine 2 tbsp of oatmeal flour, 11/2 tsp. of turmeric powder and enough water to form a yogurt-like paste in a bowl. Apply the mask to your face and wait at least 15 minutes before removing it with cool water. Applying turmeric to the skin may help with pimples that cause skin inflammations. Based on limited research findings, turmeric and its active compound curcumin may have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, according to the website MedlinePlus. However, more research is necessary to determine turmeric’s true efficacy as a treatment for this or other conditions.

Shah Abdul Latif
We are ever so busy in our daily lives that we do not pay attention to sometimes very important things around us until we are questioned about it and then have to scramble to think of an answer. That is especially difficult if the questioning is by our children, the innocent minds. Who was Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai was a Sufi saint and why are we off from school because of it?
Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai was a scholar and a poet. His work includes poetry on Unity of Allah, love for the Prophet (PBUH) and religious tolerance and humanistic values. His background includes and revolves around a girl he loved dearly yet never got to marry. Ever since then Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai wandered aimlessly in search for inner peace and in search for religious truth. How romantic one would say, but what are we missing?

It is no great surprise that retail therapy is still a pretty foreign concept in our country. One prime reason maybe that shopping is not the pleasurable experience in this part of the world as it is in the more developed societies. And it is not just the infrastructure or the presence, Read more…

There are many reasons that can make a person cry.
Social etiquette and cultural ethos require adults to maintain their decorum in public and not show their emotions, except only to those to whom they are close. Gone are the childhood days when we could bawl at the drop of a hat just because some kid pushed us too hard or yanked away our toy. We “grow up” and “grow out” of that unbelievably nonchalant, innocent, ‘crybaby’ phase of our lives. However, do we stop crying?
Admittedly, women perhaps cry more often than men do, because they are inherently more emotional, and they give birth to, and rear, young children, which make them more prone to letting loose the “waterworks” now and then. However, the one thing that can make a grown man or woman alike, cry and even sob, is their relationship with their Creator, Allah. This crying is one of the most praiseworthy actions that is greatly dear to Allah, and for which there will be ample reward in the Hereafter, Insha Allah.

Recently you must have received sms messages or emails saying: Sign a Petition to stop the recent burning of the Quran. Or join this page or that website that is condemning this act. And let’s hold a rally to stop this. Maybe all of this made you stop and think about the recent incident that caused a commotion universally as well as in the Muslim world. This was the incident of Pastor Terry Jones announcing the desecration of the Quran in Gainsville, Florida as retaliation to the Islamic Mosque being built on the site of 9/11.

Recently my 8 year old has been reading the newspaper and talking amongst her friend about the recent flood catastrophe so one day she asks: “Why has Allah made so many poor people die in the flood? They didn’t do anything wrong.” Honestly, I am at a loss of words to this question but this is a question that is perhaps being pondered over globally whether any creed or cast? God is Omnipotent. Then how come Pakistanis are undergoing a series of misfortune? Mid 2010 has witnessed several tribulations for Pakistanis: The powerful Cyclone Phet that hit in June, then the Air Blue Crash taking innocent lives of 152 passengers, then the recent calamity of the flood that is spreading. These disasters seem endless as we head towards the end of the year.
The question arises: Is God angry with the Pakistanis and hence we as a nation are being punished? But why and what about the innocent ones like Sher Muhammad who says: Amongst other things he had lost were hundred and twenty bags of maize. “That’s all I had. I have lost everything, my cattle and my orchard of apples that was ready for harvest. But I am grateful to Allah that we are alive.” (Dawn: When water became malevolent: Ismail Khan, Thursday, 19 Aug, 2010). Sher Muhammad seems like a grateful servant of Allah yet he is enveloped in this affliction. One may wonder.

It has been about a year and a half since we moved back from the US to Pakistan. A family of 5, 3 young children (5, 3 & 6 months), the immediate fear of moving to Pakistan with American born children and the thought of the dry summer heat was what if my 5 year old says: Ammi there are too many mosquitos (machar) in this country or how come we never have any light. I was pleasantly surprised and a little relieved when my 5 year old’s reaction when summer came was: Man, these mangoes are great. And every year after that she kept waiting for the “aam” season to arrive again and every few months we would hear a holler of: is it aam season yet! The heat and problems of the summer in Pakistan on one side and mango season on the other, the latter enveloping the prior.
Once again it is the mango fiesta season. We see streets filled with crates and piles of sweet luscious mangoes.
