Top 10 Headache Remedies and Cures

April 16th, 2011 ChaiWala 1 comment

Headache RemediesWhen a headache strikes suddenly, it’s not just painful, it’s downright infuriating! The pain can feel like just a tiny pinch at first, but given enough time, that pinch turns into a sledgehammer that keeps pounding away at your head until you can’t stand it anymore. Luckily though, you don’t have to just sit there and take it like you have in the past — you’ve got options, the best of all being fast acting, natural headache remedies & cures.

You and I both know that headache relief medication — such as aspirin — is becoming increasingly more UNRELIABLE to heal your headache pain. Not one day goes by where we don’t see a commercial about how a drug was recalled because it caused SERIOUS side effects or even death. Having said that, it’s only getting more foolish with each new day to turn to pills in order to get headache relief.

Most people don’t realize it, but NATURAL headache remedies and cures are the best way to go about treating headaches quickly and SAFELY. In fact, you can actually heal your headache in as little as 5 to 10 minutes so long as you’re using the right headache cures. Don’t believe it? Well, then you’ve obviously never tried using these 10 outstanding headache remedies. Take a look.

10 Easy Remedies That Can Heal Your Headache Fast…

1. Large Glass of Water. Sounds too easy, right? Well it works more often then you think. Dehydration is one of the MOST COMMON causes of headaches, so a glass of cool, clear water might be all you need to start relieving pain.

2. Deep Massage. You probably already know about massages and how they help to relieve stress & tension. However, what you didn’t likely know is that a firm massage on the head, face, AND neck can quickly get rid of headache pain.

Are You a Victim of the Frenzy of Holiday Commercialism?

Forever love. Mom, you’re the best. The Best Dad ever. These are phrases we would like to use for the people we love. When we care for someone, generally we desire to express this affection by showering our hugs and gifts and whatnots. We are happy to be with these individuals and would like to manifest this feeling to remind them they are special as a part of our lives. Such feelings ought to be selfless and sincere. There should not be any expectation of this love by the recipient and nor a pressure to quantify or brand the love by the giver.

As various holidays of the West come, it will be a good practice to express love often other than Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day or Father’s Day . Wouldn’t our neighbors be more at peace if we were to soften that music we blast each night disturbing their rest rather than  sending them a cake once a year on Neighbor’s Day? It seems as if companies have literally created days out of thin air merely to create the hype of shopping and selling just so they have more money under their pillows at night.

That’s how a Brother Does it !

You won’t see this photo on CNN.  Everyone is too busy showing the Queen receiving the VIP guests at Buckingham Palace.  This was a “touching” Kodak moment outside 10 Downing Street that won’t be forgotten by this cop. thats-how-a-bro-does-it-2.jpg
This is the most powerful photo in the series. Remember they are not supposed to shake hands, but the two brothers couldn’t resist the historic moment. The cop could never have imagined in his wildest dreams that he would usher a black American president into the British corridors of power.         Nice !!!!

When I sat down to write my first doopatti.com blog for this post, I suddenly realized that there are so many other one liners that can be appropriate for the title of this blog. One liners that would trigger the same sentiments in me, you and everyone else who is so Pakistani …over the 60’s 70’s and 80’s there have been slogans, clichés and one liners from TV dramas, stage show hosts or TV commercials that each one of us individually can relate to a particular event or time of our lives being in Pakistan. Here is my list of top 15, feel free to add your own.15) Bhai Amjad… kiyon confuse kar rahe ho… famous line used as ‘takiya kalaam’ by veteran actor Nisar Qadri (late) in his role as editor of a news magazine in one of all time top rated drama serial… the line takes me back to my early school days with my friends… the line was a daily mention in common gossip to make a point… Qadri also used another little less famous line in the same serial… “maachis hogi aapke paas”.
